Minneapolis - - On Senior Night, the Setter's Camp Dropouts managed to take 2 out of 3 from Wet Willy. The end of the season has the Dropouts at a mark of 12-9 and in a 3 way tie for 5th place.
The up and down dropouts won the first game by blowout, lost the second game by blowout and managed to win going away in the 3rd game. This was also Megan's first game back from her knee injury suffered during a bike accident which a bystander described as, "The knarliest thing I've ever seen, man." We caught up with Megan after the game, and when asked about the knee she said, "I thought the knee held up good and I know it will be ready for the playoffs in 2 weeks." Fan favorite Angela Pasyk added, "It was great to have the nucleus back together again."
The Dropouts now have 2 weeks off to nurse their injuries, fatten up on turkey, taunt some Viking's fans and get amped up for the playoffs. In the locker room, Doug Wilson said, "I've just got to stop running into people during warm-ups and meaningless games and I'll be fine." So there it is, an up and down injury riddled season that could be setting up for a magical run in the post season.
