Doug? Josh? The new look Dropouts roll to a first round playoff victory.

Minneapolis - - The Setter's Camp Dropouts prevailed over the Social Dinks in 2 games.  Both of the games followed the same path; The Dropouts got up big and then toyed with the other team until finishing them off.  The Dropouts began the playoffs the same way they began the season, with 2 subs leading them to victory.

It was Wilson and Nate who took over for Doug (meeting) and Josh (Flu).  Both played extremely well in the first round playoff game.  Mitch gave his opinion, "We are like the Patriots, we just keep plugging people into the system and keep churning out wins."  In fact, the subs played so well it left a couple people wondering aloud, "Should we just say we lost and field the same team next week?"

The road gets tougher for championship week next week.  Due to some upsets, the Dropouts hold the second seed in the reshuffled bracket.  The Dropouts have played 4 of the 5 teams left in the hunt for the championship, amassing a 5 and 7 record against that field.  If everything goes according to seeding it leaves a potential championship showdown vs the arch rivals of Volleyball Pun.  It all comes down to this...A championship hangs in the balance.
